BMIT Technology’s business transformation involved merging companies, entering new markets and offering a new range of tech solutions. They approached us to transform their brand too.

Strategy

We needed to build a new brand to reposition BMIT as much more than just a Data Centre: a technology solutions provider that can genuinely enable business productivity, growth and innovation for their customers, now and for the future.

We started from working on BMIT’s vision, then we re-defined their brand purpose: Harnessing technology to power businesses stands for a stronger, better, more innovative organisation, and acted as a starting point for a brand proposition the newly formed team could identify with - and be proud of. 

After plenty of research and discussion, we decided that it was best for the brand name to change from ‘BMIT’ to BMIT Technologies, highlighting the variety of solutions available for their clients.

Design

The new logo is modern and dynamic. The I/O (input/output) elements communicate a constant feedback flow between customer and company - forming the ‘B’ for ‘BMIT’. We wanted to keep a link with the past while showing the rich group of companies falling under the new brand, so we stacked different layers to represent motion and variety.

We also updated BMIT’s colour scheme and typography to fully represent this digital transformation, and took this new identity to every possible touchpoint, including refreshing BMIT Technologies’ website UX and UI - with a clearer, standout design aided by custom icons, designs and interactive animations.
