The Brief

D One is a refined restaurant that forms part of Montepagano 1137 Albergo Diffuso, a medieval, chic hotel scattered across the quaint Italian village of Montepagano.

The Work

After spending time with Davide and witnessing his artistry, we wanted to put the signature of his masterpiece dishes at the heart of his brand. Inspired by the restaurant’s setting – in the heart of the picturesque village – we focused on Italian typography to create a letter form that combines both the ‘D’ and the ‘One’.

Multilayered branding allowed for a modular logo that could host different textures and elegantly frame the culinary art created – itself becoming a canvas capturing the essence of the Italian village and Davide’s creative energy. We seamlessly extended this to the web presence to convey the artistic nature of D One’s dishes.

We designed a simple, responsive website and developed a bespoke suite of photography to truly communicate this unique experience.
